Ascend

Ascend is a fast-paced first person platformer where you play as a ghost making its way to Heaven after it slipped off the staircase leading to Heaven's gates. As the ghost, you will meet a cast of interesting (and maybe psychopathic) characters and use many abilities to proceed throughout the trials and tribulations of the various levels we have designed exclusively for your suffering (you enjoy this kind of stuff?!) From the hellscapes of Hades to the starry expanses of the In-Between to the golden fascades of Heaven, the player will encounter many grand landscapes and have to get past many traps blocking their way to victory. Very soon, the player will learn that the level's looks do not correlate with the difficulty! And if the player isn't tired of this game when they beat it, they have the option to enter hardcore mode, which ups the traps and removes all checkpoints! (have fun with that).
